Kamloops, BC – The University of Victoria women's basketball team fell to Thompson Rivers University 68-64, Nov. 22 at Tournament Capital Centre.
 
The Vikes came out red hot.

• Defensive units dominated yesterday's game between these two squads. This game started differently, as the shots were falling, the Vikes at a 53.3% clip.
• The Vikes used their strong shooting and took a 36-28 lead to the locker room at halftime.

 
Thompson Rivers controlled the second half for a comeback win.

• TRU shot 71.4% from the field in the third quarter, allowing them to erase the Vikes' eight-point lead and take a 53-51 lead of their own into the fourth quarter.
• TRU held on to their lead in the fourth quarter, despite Victoria dominating the rebounding battle.

 
Notables:

• Abigail Becker and Makena Anderson both recorded double-doubles, Anderson's first of the season.
• Mimi Sigue led the Vikes in scoring with her 15 points.
• The Vikes will return home with a 4-5 record, while the WolfPack improve to 3-7.

 
The Vikes' next game will be on the road against the UNBC Timberwolves on November 28 at 6 p.m.
