VICTORIA – The University of Victoria women's rowing team returned to the water for the Elk Lake Spring Regatta, March 1-2.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Vikes land two boats in 2- A Final, win B Final

• Kicking off with 2- racing on Saturday, the Vikes saw two pairs race in the A Final of the event. Pepper Howe and Gabby Kieser led the team with a fourth-place showing at 7:43.78, while Zoe Scogna and Sai Sai Faubert finished fifth at 7:46.55.
• In the 2- B Final, the duo of Belén Reed and Kaliya Javra clocked in at 7:50.89 for the top finish.

All four boats finish in top five on day two

• Racing in the 4+ and 4- on day two, all four boats posted top-five finishes across the two races.
• In the 4+, the boat of Paige Letham, Meghan Gillmore, Sarah Stormont, Elena Masyte, and Sofie Hof took fourth place with a time of 7:27.67, while Holly Crosby, Annika Van Vliet, Kiara Brennan, Abby Simpson, and Sadie Green finished just behind in fifth place at 7:32.45.
• The team of Pepper Howe, Gabby Kieser, Zoe Scogna, and Sai Sai Faubert registered a second-place showing in the 4- with a time of 6:58.49, and was followed by a fourth-place showing in the same event by Sophia Regosa, Kaliya Javra, Gracie Lorenson, and Kate Watson at 7:07.01.
