Chilliwack, B.C. – The University of Victoria men's golf team captured the Northwest Matchplay team title while the women's side finished in a tie for third, March 31-April 1 at the University of the Fraser Valley's Chilliwack Golf Club.

Vikes men, women win round one against Heat
- Both the Vikes men and women's sides posted two wins, two ties, and one loss in the first round of play against UBCO.
- Brynne Davies and Taylor Adam won their first matches by two holes and one hole, respectively, on the women's side, while Owen Croft and Felix Boucher both won their rounds by one hole on the men's side for Victoria.
- Lana Rummel and Antonia Ho each came back over their final holes to tie, with Rummel coming back from being down to tie and Ho from down one hole to tie on the women's side.
- Maguire Lines and Solomon Decksheimer tied against their UBCO opponents, with Decksheimer's tie being earned in a come from behind fashion.
All four Vikes that tied round one win in round two versus Fraser Valley
- Dominant performances from Maguire Lines and Solomon Decksheimer earned the pair wins in round two, with Lines needing only 14 holes to claim the win (5 & 4) and Decksheimer needing only 15 (4 & 3) for the victory against the Cascades.
- Lana Rummel claimed the win in 15 holes and Antonia Ho in 16 to mark the two Vikes women's wins over the Cascades in round two.
- Felix Boucher recorded a tie in round two to split the men's round with Fraser Valley at two wins, two losses, and one tie a piece.
Greb, Boucher and Lines capture round three wins over Simon Fraser
- The Vikes women fell to Simon Fraser in round three, resulting in a tie for third as a team. Natalie Greb finished with a one-hole win over her Red Leaf opponent to mark the Vikes' lone win.
- Felix Boucher and Maguire Lines captured wins against Simon Fraser for the Vikes men in round three, with Lines winning by one hole and Boucher winning after 15 holes to send the Vikes to the championship round.
Vikes men win rematch with SFU to claim team title
- Playing the Red Leafs for the second-straight round, Felix Boucher, Daniel Kirby, and Owen Croft each recorded a win in the final round of match play to capture the team title for the Vikes.
- Boucher went unbeaten over his four rounds of match play (3-0-1) at the event, earning tournament MVP honours for his performance.
