Second-year Vikes men’s rugby player Guiseppe duToit has been selected as January’s Male Athlete of the Month. The fly half from Maple Ridge is the top Vike scorer in the CDI Premier League table with 72 points, including 15 converts and 14 penalty kicks in seven games played.
 
DuToit has been a prolific kicker throughout the season and was crucial for securing points in the 35-17 victory against the Castaway Wanderers in the prestigious Barnard Cup final last November. At only 18, duToit was also a starter for team Canada in the Americas Rugby Championship in 2013.
