Third year golfer Alex Cartwright has been nominated as this month’s Male Athlete of the Month. The Alberta native was the leading Vike in the Battle at Primm event in Nevada on Mar. 23-24, finishing with a 3-under 213 score at the end of three rounds and helped the Vikes rank 7^th overall among a tight field of US competitors. At the Corban Spring Invitational on Mar. 9-10, Cartwright finished sixth overall and helped the Vikes men’s golf team win the event. The Vikes men also won the Master’s College Spring Invitational with the leadership of Cartwright as he finished with a three-round score of 219 to rank 10^th overall.
