NEWS & NOTES

• The Vikes host the Vikes Spring Shootout for the first time since 2021-22 season, as Victoria hosted the Canada West championships in 2022-23.
• UVic will host Canada West competition Calgary, Fraser Valley, and UBCO in addition to the NAIA's Corban.
• The Vikes kicked off the spring 2024 season at the RMC Intercollegiate, March 5-6. Maguire Lines led the way for the Vikes' men's side, posting a top-10 individual finish after tying for sixth at +2 overall following rounds of 70, 72 and 76, while Cindy Koira posted the top finish for the Vikes' women's side, tying for 13th individually at +22 overall (77, 78, 83).
• At the 2022 edition of the Vikes Spring Shootout, the Vikes men finished third and the women fourth as teams, led by an individual win from Vikes golf alumnus Robin Conlan.
