Calgary, AB – The University of Victoria men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the University of Calgary's Stewart Cup race Saturday, Oct. 4.
 
Thompson, Owens, and Kuchar finish in the top five

• On the women's side, Marisha Thompson delivered an impressive performance, posting a time of 29:09 in the varsity and open women's race. Her speed earned her 2^nd place in her first race of the year.
• Erin Owens improved on her 10^th place finish from last week with a time of 29:28 and a 5^th place finish.
• On the men's side, Jaxon Kuchar added a 5^th place finish of his own, posting an impressive time of 24:59.

 
The Vikes will be back in action as they host the Canada West Championship on Saturday, Oct. 25.
