Seattle, WA – The University of Victoria's track and field team headed south to compete in the University of Washington Invitational on January 31.
Eyberygen, Clements, and Waller are the Vikes' top finishers.
- Madelyn Eybergen once again was among the top performers as she displayed her speed and stamina in the women's 3000M, finishing sixth. Eybergen repeated her strong performance as she led the Vikes, finishing 12th in the one-mile race with her strong time of 4:46.26.
- Isaac Clements finished atop the podium for his performance in the B-section of the pole vault. Clements soared to a height of 4.65m.
- David Waller was the best finisher on the men's side of the one-mile race as he crossed the finish line with a time of 4:04.27, claiming 15th.
The track and field team will return to competition as they head to Edmonton, AB, for the Panda Bear Open hosted by the University of Alberta, Feb. 6 & 7.
