Debbie Yeboah scored 23 points,
Kayla Dykstra added 15 points and nine rebounds, and the no. 2 UVic Vikes women's basketball team cruised to an 88-41 victory over the Manitoba Bisons.

Yeboah accounted for the game high scoring total behind an 11-fo-16 shooting performance, and UVic stayed undefeated in conference play at 5-0. Overall the Vikes shot 50 percent from the field, while suffocating defence limited the youthful Bisons to just 26 percent shooting.
Dykstra sat for most of the first half with foul trouble but exploded in the second frame for 13 of her 15 points. The senior post from Calgary shared the rebounding high with
Vanessa Forstbauer, each totaling nine, and UVic owned a 46-27 advantage on the glass.
Forstbauer also scored seven points, had five assists and four steals.
Cassandra Goodis rounded out the Vikes' scoring leaders with the rookie guard from Penticton netting 13 points.
The Manitoba scoring high was split between seniors Lauren Mortier and Kayla Klassen with each player finishing with 10 points. The Bisons roster features six rookies and the inexperienced squad was hampered by 26 turnovers..
