Windsor, Ont. – The University of Victoria track teams finished the 2025 BioSteel U SPORTS Track and Field Championships with three top-five finishes at the University of Windsor, March 6-8.

McDowell-Mitchell, O'Brien make 600m Finals
- Elisabeth McDowell-Mitchell and Tate O'Brien opened the U SPORTS championships with the 600m prelims, each finishing in fourth place with times of 1:31.31 and 1:19.52, respectively, to secure their place in the finals.
- In the finals, O'Brien finished fifth overall with a time of 1:18.97 while McDowell-Mitchell finished sixth at 1:32.36.
4x800m relays finish in top five
Damian top 10 finish in 3000m
- Daniel Damian added a top-10 finish for the Vikes, taking seventh in the men's 3000m with an 8:25.75 performance.
1500m runners add top 10 finishes
- Marisha Thompson and Jack Boden recorded top-10 finishes in the 1500m for the Vikes. Thompson finished sixth in the women's race at 4:26.65, while Boden took 10th in the men's race with a time of 3:56.85.
