Last Game Recap:
- The Vikes were off and running against the Heat in their last road game of the 2026 regular season. The Heat matched the Vikes' intensity and traded basket for basket to scrape off a one-point first-quarter lead.
- Mimi Sigue and her 12 first-half points pushed Victoria to a second-quarter run that had them overtake UBCO. On the defensive end, the Vikes were forcing turnovers and making every Heat offensive possession a battle. This tenacity allowed the lead to reach 3 points at halftime with the Vikes in front 34-31.
- The tides changed in the third quarter as the offensive unit for the Vikes went cold. The Heat pulled in front and capitalized on the slow start out of halftime.
- Victoria fought in the fourth quarter and tried to erase the Heat's lead, but to no avail. UBCO held on and claimed the 64-54 victory.
Â
Game Preview:

- The Vikes hit the 50-point mark in the first half for the third time this season.
- The Vikes continued to find success from beyond the arc. Finishing 17/32 for a three-point percentage of 53.1%. This scoring rate, paired with their defensive tenacity, meant the Heat stood little chance of any comeback attempts.
- Ryan Gallagher and Tyler Felt both were on fire from the floor. Gallagher and Felt were each 8-10 and showed that the depth of the Vikes is their biggest asset.
- Victoria finished strong, securing the 106-57 win, scoring 24 points or more in every quarter while holding the Heat to 17 points or less.
