Hinrichsen, living in Victoria, was a two-time winner of the Mike Moser Trophy, recognizing the CIAU most outstanding men's basketball player, in 1997 and 1999. He is the Vikes all-time leading rebounder (939) and second in all-time scoring (1,506 points). He represented Canada at the 2000 Olympic Games and the 1997 World University Games, and played professionally in Belgium and France. He also won the 1994 CIAU rookie of the year award and was the championship MVP when the Vikes won their eighth CIAU title in 1997.

• Played for the Vikes from 1994-99
• Two-time recipient of Mike Moser Trophy as CIAU outstanding men's basketball player (1997, '99)
• One of only five athletes to win CIAU outstanding player award twice
• Led Vikes to eighth CIAU Championship title in 1996-97 and was named MVP of the championship
• Three-time CIAU All-Canadian (1997, '98, '99) and CIAU Rookie of the Year in 1994
• Vikes all-time leading rebounder (939) and second all-time leading scorer (1,586)

International Achievements
• Represented Canada at the 2000 Olympic Games and 1997 World University Games
• Played professionally in Belgium and French leagues
